Terms of service
Watt Guard · Operated by EA Concepts, Texas
Your account and meter authorization
By using Watt Guard, you agree to these terms. You must be an adult authorized to manage the electricity account you connect, provide accurate details and protect your login. Meter access depends on your Smart Meter Texas authorization and third-party availability.
Premium subscription
Premium costs $7.99/mo, billed monthly through Square, plus applicable taxes if assessed. Your subscription automatically renews each month until canceled. You authorize recurring payment at the disclosed price. You can cancel anytime from Billing; renewal stops and Premium stays available until the end of your paid month. Refunds follow our refund policy. Material price changes will be communicated before they apply.
Electricity offers and enrollment
Plan offers and comparisons are informational, not guaranteed quotes or savings. You choose the plan and enroll directly with the provider. Review the provider's current Electricity Facts Label, service terms, eligibility, fees and enrollment confirmation. Watt Guard does not enroll you automatically or replace your contract with the provider. Offers can change, and usage patterns, delivery charges and taxes affect your actual bill.
Referral fees and available features
EA Concepts may receive referral fees from electricity providers. Such fees do not guarantee that a plan is the best option for you. Features identified as previews, examples or coming soon are not active services; Premium does not activate unavailable device integrations or guarantee automatic switching.
Acceptable use and limitations
Do not misuse the service, access another person's data, interfere with security or provide unauthorized meter details. Information may be delayed or incomplete. Watt Guard is not an emergency, outage, financial or legal advisory service. Contact your utility for outages. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or savings, and EA Concepts is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Texas law and changes
These terms are governed by Texas law, subject to mandatory consumer protections. We may update terms with notice where required. Contact support about service disputes or billing concerns.
